CANCELLATION / INTERRUPTION BY THE CUSTOMER
- Cancellation by the customer
- Cancellation of a reservation 30 days or more in advance: full refund of the deposit or of the amount paid.
- Cancellation of a reservation less than 3 days (72 hours) before the scheduled appointment: the remaining balance will be due.
In the event of force majeure and upon presentation of valid proof, Destination Calanques may issue a refund of the amount paid; however, this cannot be claimed as a right by the customer. In all cases, the customer agrees to notify Destination Calanques of any changes related to the reservation: program arrangements, changes in the number of participants, delays, or cancellations.
- Interruption during the activity
If the service is interrupted once it has started, the customer or participant will not be entitled to any refund.
CANCELLATION / EXCLUSION BY DESTINATION CALANQUES
- Cancellation
Destination Calanques instructors reserve the right to cancel or adapt the outing based on weather conditions or the participants’ skill levels.
The activity may be cancelled, or the meeting point changed for safety reasons or any other case of force majeure. In such cases, a replacement activity will be offered whenever possible, or an alternative date will be proposed.
You will receive a confirmation email the day before with the new meeting location or alternative departure point (please ensure you check your emails carefully the evening before your booking).
If you do not show up at the new meeting location, you will not be entitled to any compensation or refund.
- If the activity cannot take place, the service will be fully refunded, with no entitlement to any additional compensation.
In the event of cancellation due to insufficient participant numbers (a minimum of 4 people is required to confirm a kayak outing), all participants will be fully refunded but will not be entitled to any compensation.
- Exclusion
Destination Calanques instructors reserve the right to exclude any participant who is intoxicated or whose behaviour may disrupt the smooth running of the activity or compromise the safety of the group.
In such cases, the customer or participant will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.
MEETING POINT
You will always be provided with a specific time and location for your activity.
To ensure the smooth running of the activities, and out of respect for other participants and the professional supervising you, we kindly ask you to read all roadmaps and instructions sent to you beforehand.
Please plan your journey to arrive on time. We allow a maximum delay of 15 minutes.
After this time, the instructors will proceed with the activity, and no refund or compensation will be issued.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In accordance with Articles L.616-1 and R.616-1 of the French Consumer Code, we offer access to a consumer mediation service.
The selected mediation body is: CNPM – MÉDIATION DE LA CONSOMMATION.

All disputes, regardless of their nature, shall fall under the jurisdiction of the French civil and commercial courts, including in summary proceedings.
